Masjid Ul’ Aala was built in 1993 during the construction of the Royal shopping center. The owner of Royal donated the property to ensure that shoppers would be able to fulfill their religious duties.
Masjid Arafat was originally a church that was purchased by members of the Muslim community in 2011 and converted into a Masjid. In November 2013, the masjid was given its current name.
