Eid al-Fitr has been has been scheduled for Monday July 28th 2014! The Takbeerath starts at 8:30 AM, and the salah starts at 9:00 AM. These timings are the same for both Masjid Arafat (on Old Richmond Road) and Masjid Aala (on Bissonnet). Please remember to pay your Fitra of $8/person before the Eid prayers.
The Khatum Quran fundraiser at Masjid Arafat has been a success. Not only have we been able to pay our expenses and start another expansion of our parking lot, but we also successfully raised enough money to establish a full-time Hifz program at our masjid. This Hifz program starts at August 6th 2014, and runs from 8 AM to 2 PM, Monday to Friday. Thank you, Muslims, for contributing to our masjids and helping us help the community.
